Jennifer Sparkman has spent a decade in higher education marketing developing strategies and crafting content to engage prospective students and families. She is the Director of Audience Engagement Strategy for Enrollment Marketing at University of the Pacific, where she oversees social media and interactive digital experiences. As the parent of a high school senior, Jennifer has insight into the challenges students and families can face during the college search. Prior to joining Pacific, she led content and social media strategy at University of California, Merced, and spent most of her career as a journalist before her move to higher education.


When Jennifer isn’t working, she enjoys reading, thrifting for and listening to records, playing movies very loudly (especially horror), cooking and roller-skating. She lives in Northern California.
